Zlatan Ibile Shares Last Convo With Oladips Before Sudden Death

Nigerian hip-hop artist, Zlatan Ibile born Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, has taken to social media to share his last conversation with his late colleague and friend, Oladips, who passed away suddenly at age 28.

Recall, the 28-year-old who died on November 14, 2023 had been battling within himself.

His sudden death generated mixed reactions online as entertainers and fans sent their condolences to the music industry and the family of the deceased.

Reacting to the death of the rapper, Zlatan Ibile took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to share his the last conversation he had with the deceased, where he confirmed that he has been dealing with health challenges that made his head ‘feel light’

Sharing a throwback photo of himself and the deceased, Zlatan Ibile wrote: “Words fail me! Cried all night and prayed to god that I hear good news this morning. Here I am. And I’m never going to see my friend again.”

Recall, a viral video surfaced on social media capturing the lifeless body of Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, also known as Oladips.

The video was shared on social media by a member of the rapper’s team called Rasheed.

In the video, Rasheed and two other persons were pictured crying over the lifeless body of the ‘Chache’ crooner.

Rasheed cried, “Dips abeg, God abeg. Wein be this.”

Oladips, who hit the spotlight after rapper Reminisce signed him to LRR/EDGE Records, died suddenly on Tuesday, November 14 after battling with ‘Himself’ for two years
