Renowned Nigerian rap artist CDQ, whose real name is Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, is presently in a fight for his life following a horrific car crash.
The incident is said to have taken place in Lagos on a Tuesday afternoon.
Witnesses say, the rapper’s vehicle collided with a building after being struck by another car along the road.
With the news spreading widely, CDQ’s social media posts have been inundated with messages of support and well wishes for a swift recovery from fans, sympathizers, and fellow colleagues in the industry.
CDQ gained notable recognition through his hit track “Nowo E Soke,” a collaboration with Wizkid, and his feature on Masterkraft’s popular song “Indomie,” alongside Olamide.
