Security operatives in Delta State Police command have arrested Nollywood actor and costume designer Prince Onyenwere for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl at a movie location.
This comes after a video of Prince Onyenwere being attacked by some persons believed to be his colleagues who kept beating him for allegedly abusing the minor surfaced on social media.
A voice in the background could be heard saying,
“R*pist, you no fit control your dick.”
A source who wishes to remain anonymous, told journalists on Tuesday that the incident happened on Sunday at a hotel in Asaba.
The source said the costumier has been handed over to the police after he was badly beaten.
“After beating him, they took him to the police station,”
the source said.
Another report said the little girl who is also a child actress was s*xually abused by Prince while changing her outfit for the next scene in a hotel room at the movie location.
The Delta State Police has not released any official statement regarding the matter as of the time of filing this report.
Prince Onyenwere has worked with actors like Zack Orji, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Walter Anga, Nosa Rex, Ebele Uche and Rita Edochie.
