Nigerian musician David Adeleke also known as Davido and his rival in the industry Ayodeji Balogun also known as Wizkid were recently spotted at the same nightclub in London.
A viral video surfaced on the 19th of October 2024 capturing the moment showing Davido relaxing in the VIP section when Wizkid made his entrance. However, to the surprise of fans, the musicians did not exchange greetings, with Wizkid leaving shortly after arriving the club.
Recall that the two celebrities were involved in an online saga some weeks ago. Wizkid went on a lengthy rant on social media, blasting Davido, his crew, and anything related to the singer. The real cause of the beef is still not known.
These two music icons have cemented their position as global forces in the music scene. Davido’s rise has been a building process, he rose to fame after releasing ‘Dami Duro’ the single from his debut studio album ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ in 2012. He won the Next Rated Award at the Headies. Davido has since won various awards from then on.
Wizkid on the other hand was first signed into Banky W’s record label ‘ Empire Mates Entertainment’ (E.M.E). He rose to stardom after releasing ‘Holla at Your Boy’ the lead single from his debut studio album ‘Superstar’ in 2011. In 2018, Wizkid was featured on the song “Checklist” by Normani and Calvin Harris, which reached number one on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.
The recent video posted on social media has caused more tension on social media. Social media users have given different reactions, thoughts and opinions concerning the beef between them.
