Popular Nigerian comedian, Ayo “AY” Makun, has continued to count his blessings after a fire incident in his Lagos that claimed properties worth millions.
In a video that was posted by Grace Makun (Fabjewels), AY’s sister in-law, nothing was left of the property, as firemen were seen at the scene, inspecting the extent of the damages.
Fabjewels had earlier applauded the efforts of AY’s brothers, Lanre Makun and Yomi Casual, for the strength and protection they showed at the time.
The caption states: “Brothers like no other. The strength and protection I saw you both display is to be studied. GOD BLESS THIS TWO MEN
“Get yourself amazing brothers like @lanremakunevents @yomicasual
“I love you both and super proud of you. Nobody like family, good family. Now I see why @aycomedian don’t joke with his brothers.”
Fabjewels stated that for those wondering why she is appraising, it’s because they all cried and prayed together and God showed them mercy as a family.
She added that her heart is full of gratitude as she affirmed her love for Ay and his wife, Mabel Makun.
Our heart is full of gratitude for @aycomedian @realmabelmakun we love you both. God got you both and May he fill your home with joy this season.” Fabjewels said.
Meanwhile, goodwill messages have continued to pour in for the comedian and his family, who are currently out of the country.
Ay’s wife, Mabel Makun has been silent since the incident occurred.
Recall that on Sunday, AY’s house was razed to the ground by fire. However, the comedian on Monday posted a video of his family; who obviously are out of the country, shopping in a store with a caption: “Family and God – that is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in a few hours.”
