Popular Nigerian Afrobeat musician David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has taken to social media to quiz fans of Manchester United‘s following the club’s epic loss on Wednesday night to FC Copenhagen on match day 4 of the UEFA Champions League played last night at Parken Stadium in Denmark.
It will be recalled that the red devils had started the game brilliantly with Rasmus Højlund scoring a brace within the first 28 minutes of the match, but unfortunately the controversial red card given to Marcus Rashford slowed down the pace for the club and inadvertently bring about their loss.
A few minutes after the English international got sent off, Copenhagen pulled one back through Mohamed Elyounoussi after which Diogo Gonçalves restored parity before the end of the first half for the Danish side.
The Red Devils, however, gained their feet in the 69th minute from a Bruno Fernandes penalty but the home side struck harder through Lukas Lerager before Roony Bardghji scored the winning goal three minutes before the end of the match.
Fans of the Red devil club took to social media to lament bitterly following their defeat which leaves Manchester United at rock bottom of their group with 3 points.
Reacting to the Red Devils’ loss on X, Davido wrote:
“I don’t watch ball like that … but come Wetin Man U do so?? Every week una dey complain enlighten me pls”
In response to the singer’s call out, fans of Red devils flooded comment section of the post with replies of their perception of the club following their incessent losses at the pitch.
