Popular Yoruba monarch Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and his estranged wife Prophetess Naomi Silekunola is making headlines following the rare moment they reunited at a recent event attended by their son Prince Tadenikawo in Akure, Ondo state.
The Ooni, was in Akure for one of his latest projects which had to do with the opening of Ojaja Park. He graced the event alongside his entourage and was seen having a father-son moment with his son Prince Tadenikaro, whom he had with Naomi.
The reunion has, however, stirred up reactions being that the monarch and the Prophetess had gone their separate ways in December 2021.Their marriage lasted for three years.
The event, held on Sunday, November 10, the royal family was seen sharing a warm moment together, drawing admiration from attendees and viewers.Their reunion at the event highlights a peaceful and respectful co-parenting dynamic since their separation
Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi is the 51st and current Ooni of Ife. He is a traditional ruler and monarch of a Yoruba people of Ile-Ife. He had ascended to the throne after the passing of Oba Okunade Sijuwade in August 2015.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and also an associate accounting technician.
