The actor alongside other crew members drowned in the River Niger area on their way back from the set of Another Side of Life, a movie produced by Adanma Luke.
The veteran who was at the hospital where Junior Pope was confirmed dead, shared a video of himself and the national president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas on Instagram on Thursday, staring at their colleague’s corpse.
The video sparked reactions as many, including Prince Eke, who criticised him, for posting the video online.
In a video shared on his Instagram account, Prince Eke said he is disappointed in Jerry, adding that
“You are the most insensitive old man I’ve ever seen. Cover your face in shame.
“Jerry Amilo just posted a video of Junior Pope’s corpse with cotton wools in his nose. Such a very snesless man. I used to respect Jerry Amilo. Jerry Amilo I am disappointed in you, why would you post such a thing? For wetin? Why? For comments, for you to have traffic on your Facebook.
“You took a video of your friend, of your junior colleague lying dead, you made a video, watermarked the video because your facebook is monetised abi? You are using your junior colleague’s corpse to create content Jerry Amilo,”
he said in parts.
