Top Nollywood stars, like Toyin Abraham, Iyabo Ojo, Osas Ighodaro, Kiekie, Uti Nwachukwu and Reekado Banks on Thursday attended the premiere of Tiwa Savage’s film Water and Garri.
Top Society reports that the event, held in Lagos, also witness the attendance of top Big Brother Naija reality stars Khloe and Angel Smith, media personality Toke Makinwa and Real Housewives of Lagos reality star Dr Rommel.
Sharing a video of her outfit to the premiere on her Instagram, Toyin Abraham wrote, “Out for my darling @tiwasavage #waterandgarri will start showing on prime from tomorrow. Amazing film.”

Water and Garri has also premiered in the UK and US.
Announcing the Lagos premiere on her Instagram account on Wednesday, Tiwa wrote: “New York you owe me nothing. Thank you to everyone that showed up for the US premiere of Water & Garri.
“LAGOS YOU ARE UP NEXT! Special shout out to the Office of The Vice President (OVP) who has generously collaborated with us for the Lagos premiere of Water & Garri. Gratitude also overflows to the esteemed office of the SA to the President (OVP) on Digital and Creative Economy @feghox and the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, under the leadership of @honhannatumusawa. We’re coming home! Lagos see you tomorrow.”

Water and Garri was shot in Cape Coast, Ghana and produced by Unbound Studios and its subsidiary JM Films.
It got its name from ‘Water and Garri’, a music EP Tiwa released in 2021.
