Nigerian singer Teni on Sunday night broke down in tears after Cote d’Ivoire defeated Nigeria at the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Top Society reported that the Super Eagles were beaten 2-1 by the Elephants at the Alassane Quattara Olympic Stadium in Abidjan.

Like other Nigerians, Teni took to her Instagram account to lament the defeat against the Super Eagles, after which, cried over the loss while asking for oxygen as she playfully joked about not being able to breathe.
Teni said in the video,
“Ivory Coast, you think you can embarrass me? I needed oxygen, somebody, please. Ivory Coast, let me not say it will not coast for you. I am feeling decapsulated, my chest, my nyash, yeh.”
