Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has fired back on critics criticizing her for public remarks she made about Judy Austin, the second wife of her nephew, Yul Edochie.
Rita Edochie’s defended her actions in a post shared on her Instagram page stating that her age gives her the authority to speak out against Judy.
In one of her recent post, she shared a video of a woman slipping and falling on a runway, bearing a striking resemblance to Judy Austin in terms of body shape and dressing.
The caption was filled with mocking language and laughter, implying the woman’s fall was comedic, and asking her followers to comment who they feel the woman looks like.
The actress emphasized that as long as Judy continues her actions that she would not rest either. “What you can’t admit when done to you, please don’t do it to others; if not, cry me a river.” She remarked.
Rita called attention to the hypocrisy in the situation, noting that many people who have made videos to tarnish the image of May Yul Edochie, Yul’s first wife, have now begun to express outrage over her recent video.
She made a comment on how individuals who dish out criticism to others cannot handle it when the tables turn. “It’s very funny how most people cannot take what they dish out. They feel the entire world revolves around them, but it’s a no-no.” She further stated in her post.
She also made reference on how several videos have been made against May to hurt her emotions, and her own video leading to complaints from Judy and her supporters.
The actress concluded her statement saying there is more to come. “Bikonu, get ready to cry more because I dey quiet since, but as una don touch her again, na upper Iweka and Ogbommanu workers go dey settle our case KPI-CHI-KOM.”
