The remains of late Nollywood actor, Junior Pope arrived at his hometown Ukehe, in Nsukka, igboetiti LGA of Enugu State on Friday for burial.
Top society reports that the deceased actor’s family received the body.
It would be recalled that Junior Pope was confirmed dead on the night of April 10 after several attempts to resuscitate him failed. The actor alongside make-up artist Abigail Frederick, and the production crew; Friday, Olanti and Precious drowned in Anam River on their way back from the set of Another Side of Life, a movie produced by Adanma Luke.
The funeral rites for the deceased actor commenced on April 23 with a requiem mass at Saint John-Mary Vianney Parish, Asaba, Delta State.
The wake held yesterday, May 16th at his country home in Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, a community in Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area of the state.
The funeral service will be held today, May 17th at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ukehe. Interment will follow immediately after the burial of the actor, according to the family.
