Mavins Boss, Michael Collins Ajereh also known as Don Jazzy, has announced the addition of a new signee to the record label.
The music executive shared the thrilling news with a video of the new female artiste called Lifesize Teddy.
According to Don Jazzy, the talent has gone through the process of Mavin academy, hence the decision to showcase her to the world.
“Unveiling a new artist is a reminder of how an artist have let themselves go through the laid down process of the Mavin academy, the testament of our faith in them and the coming together of our hardwork.” The music executive stated.
Don Jazzy also shared a background information on the artiste.
“With the power vested in me by the Supreme Mavin Dynasty It’s my pleasure to introduce you to Mavin’s latest signee. Rapper, poet, singer and songwriter Lifesize Teddy.”
She is also a 17 year old rapper from Portharcourt.
According to the video accompanying Don Jazzy’s post, Lifesize Teddy’s EP is expected to drop midnight on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a lot of supporting comments rolled in for the new signee, however, one stood out. The comment by one Eric Okafor, tagged the artiste a feminist/anti-patriarchy.
Most of the comments were, however, welcoming.
Don Jazzy is known for having the eyes for great talents from Wande Coal Johnny Drille, Tiwa Savage, Arya Star.
Lifesize Teddy will now join Ayra Starr and Di’Ja, who had previously been the only female signees of the record.
