Senator Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia North has said that Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, will soon join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Kalu described Soludo as a “progressive,” like himself, President Bola Tinubu, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Speaking to journalists at the National Assembly, the former Abia governor said Soludo’s move to the APC was certain.
He said, “After all the court cases, Soludo will join the APC. He is a progressive like me, President Tinubu, and the Senate President. It is confirmed — he has no other option.”
Kalu also explained that no one is being forced to join the APC. He made this comment after reports suggested that Abia State Governor Alex Otti, who belongs to the Labour Party, might also move to the ruling party.
He added, “Neither I, the Senate President, nor President Tinubu have ever forced anyone to join our party.”
Over the weekend, Soludo was re-elected for a second term after defeating APC candidate Nicholas Ukachukwu by more than 300,000 votes.
