Dr. Arube Otor, a 55-year-old renowned highlife musician popularly known as “Isoko Fela One,” is gearing up to make history by marrying three women on the same day.

The groundbreaking event is scheduled for Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the Anglican Church Field in Uzere Kingdom, located in the Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The marriage flier, which has gone viral, features Dr. Arube Otor dressed in identical attire as his three brides-to-be: Ewoma, Oghenekome, and Oghenekaro.

The women, all natives of Delta State, are set to become his wives in a ceremony that is already generating significant attention both within the state and beyond.

Sources reveal that this event will mark a milestone in Arube’s personal life and career.

His foster son, Emperor Efih, who is one of the RSVPs for the ceremony, shed light on the circumstances surrounding this decision. He explained that Arube originally planned to marry four women simultaneously but that one of the women opted out for personal reasons along the way.

“Arube married two women about 20 years ago,” Efih shared. “One of them divorced him, leaving him with just one wife.

Over the years, he decided it was time to expand his family. To reduce costs, he resolved to marry four women at once. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, one of the women pulled out, leaving three brides-to-be.”

The decision to marry three women at once is seen as bold, unconventional, and reflective of Arube’s flamboyant personality, which has also characterized his career as a highlife musician.

Known for his vibrant performances and unique musical style, Arube has a reputation for breaking norms and pushing boundaries.

Uzere Kingdom, his hometown, is abuzz with preparations for the grand occasion. The Anglican Church Field, chosen as the venue for the nuptials, is expected to be filled with family members, friends, fans, and well-wishers eager to witness the historic event.

The ceremony promises to combine traditional Isoko cultural elements with modern festivities, celebrating not only Arube’s union but also his legacy as a prominent figure in the local music scene.

As the date approaches, curiosity and excitement continue to build around Dr. Arube Otor’s remarkable journey and his bold step into a new chapter of his life.

This event is set to go down in history as one of the most talked-about weddings in Delta State and beyond.
