Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo’s upcoming movie ‘Labake Olododo’ is set to hit cinemas in 2025. The actress expressed her heartfelt gratitude to FilmOne Studios for their support in the production of the movie.
Iyabo Ojo shared the thrilling news on social media, showing her joy and appreciation for the supports and contributions that helped make the project a success.
She wrote: “I’m overwhelmed with joy, as this project has been a long-time dream. Thank you, God, for bringing it to life!”.
She also took the time to show appreciation to the key collaborators like the director of the movie Biodun Stephen, for her exceptional work put into the making of the movie.
The actress expressed excitement for the upcoming release of ‘Labake Olododo’ and extended her well wishes for the season.
The movie has generated anticipation among fans and is expected to bring a brand new cinematic experience when it launches in cinemas in 2025.
Iyabo Ojo is also a director and a producer popularly known for her contributions in the Nollywood film industry. She has featured in over 150 movies and has produced more than 14 of her own movies.
She started producing her own films in 2004, which included projects like ‘Bolutife’, ‘Bofeboko’. She also made ‘Ololufe’, Esan’ and ‘Okunkun Biribiri’.
The first movie she featured was in 1998’s Satanic, an English language film. She made her Yoruba language debut with Baba Darijinwon in 2002.
Her first movie Silence was released in January 2015 featuring the likes of Joseph Benjamin Alex Usifo, Fathia Balogun, and Doris Simeon. It was premiered at the Silverbird Cinemas, Ikeja, Lagos.
