Just like his contemporary and friend, Pastor Paul Enenche disclosed a month ago, founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has spoken up about how God funds his lavish lifestyle, stressing that netizens may lose consciousness if his collection of wristwatches made it to social media.
TopSociety reports that the Port Harcourt-based pastor however pointed out that the benevolence and gifts he has received from people are as a result of the problems he solves.
Enenche had in a video that trended last month, disclosed that God directly supplies his needs, revealing that several items given to him as gifts, including shoes, have remained unused for years, while many others were given out.
According to him, “Some people will see a suit or a watch and say, ‘church money’…. Someone who gifted me a pair of shoes said he has been waiting to see me wear it. I said sorry, there are shoes inside packets since five years ago that were given as a gift that is not worn.
“There are those you just release out. I gave about 200-and-something suits out in one day. Go, it’s enough.”
Speaking almost in a similar direction, Pastor Ibiyeomie made the following disclosure in a video that is currently making the rounds online:
“They showed watches I wear on social media; I don’t buy them. A young man gave me a watch of $2 million. He loves watches a lot. He said one day God spoke to him and carry this watch and go and give your pastor. The thing that humbled me is that when he came with the watch, he said ‘Sir, I want to make a sacrifice’ I asked him: sacrifice to God? He said no, God told me to make the sacrifice to you.
“I’ve not even worn half of them. The ones they show on social media are just small. I have watches. This guy gave me expensive watches. If they see those ones they will just faint… because I’m solving problems,” Ibiyeomie pointed out.
