U.S. President Donald Trump has criticised the Grammy Awards, calling the ceremony “boring” and “hard to watch.” He also accused the show’s host, Trevor Noah, of making a false and damaging comment about him.

Trump shared his views on his Truth Social account. He described the Grammys as one of the worst award shows and said television network CBS was lucky it no longer broadcasts what he called “nonsense.”

He also criticised Trevor Noah’s hosting, saying he performed poorly and comparing him unfavourably to late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.

Trump’s reaction followed a joke made by Noah during the awards ceremony. Noah mentioned Trump and former U.S. President Bill Clinton while talking about convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump strongly denied any link to Epstein. He said he had never visited Epstein’s private island or had any involvement with it.

“I have never been to Epstein Island, or anywhere near it,” Trump wrote. He insisted that Noah’s comment was false and defamatory.

The president said he is considering taking legal action against Noah. He described the comedian as a “pathetic” and “talentless” host and said his lawyers could sue for damages.

Trump also mentioned past legal battles with media figures, claiming they had turned out in his favour.
