Nigerian actress Annie Macaulay Idibia has spoken about the drama that followed after she liked a post made by Laila Charani the fifth wife of Senator Ned Nwoko — attacking actress Regina Daniels.
Laila had posted a long message on Instagram accusing Regina Daniels of introducing her to drugs. She also called Regina a bad influence and claimed Regina slept with many of the young women around her.
Although Annie and Regina are known to be close friends, people noticed that Annie liked Laila’s post. This caused a lot of reactions online, with many fans unhappy about Annie’s action.
Reacting to the backlash, Annie posted on her Instagram story explaining that she liked Laila’s post by accident while reading it. She said she would never betray Regina and that she always supports her.
Her message read:
“In the process of reading the rubbish they said about my baby Regina, I liked the post by mistake. We don’t joke with loyalty here. My baby knows I have her back, front, and side. Make una rest abeg.”
This incident comes at a time when Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, are having serious marital issues.
Regina earlier accused Ned of domestic violence, which he denied, instead accusing her of taking drugs a claim Regina also denied.
