According to a statement released by the President’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, the appointment of the members is contingent upon the confirmation of the Nigerian Senate.

The incoming FCSC leadership, headed by the newly appointed Chairman, Prof. Tunji Olaopa, is expected to commence duties on November 30, 2023, following the conclusion of the current Chairman and members’ tenure on November 29, 2023.
