The Ogun State Ministry of Justice has announced that it will prosecute TikTok creator Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, after several road accidents linked to him raised concerns about public safety.

The ministry said Abiodun crashed into two motorcycles in Sagamu on November 1, 2025, seriously injuring a rider and a woman who was a passenger. Witnesses said he tried to run away but was stopped by people at the scene.

According to the government, DJ Chicken was involved in another accident on Sunday in Lekki, Lagos, where he nearly hit pedestrians. This incident marks his third road crash in two months.

In a statement released on Monday, the ministry said:

“Mr. Abiodun returned to driving recklessly just three weeks after the Sagamu crash. The state must act to protect the public, especially since many people are calling for him to be stopped from driving.”

The statement explained that while accident victims can seek compensation, some drivers are a serious danger to society and must face criminal charges.

The Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Oluwasina Ogungbade, SAN, has directed officials to speed up action on the Sagamu case so that DJ Chicken can be charged in court as soon as possible.

The ministry also assured the public that it will continue working with law enforcement agencies to ensure safety on the roads and hold reckless drivers accountable.
