Popular BBNaija Star, Other Top Nigerian Celebrity Whose Houses Gutted Fire In 2023

The home of former BBNaija star, Tochukwu Okechukwu, popularly known as Tochi, on Wednesday 8th November gutted fire.

The reality star had via the microblogging platform, X formerly Twitter made known the incident, disclosing that he was stuck in traffic during the tragic event happened.

Sharing a video of the fire outbreak, the reality TV star appreciated everyone who had reached out to him, saying the past few days have been traumatic.

He also added that, the devastation and trauma faced during this period almost drove him insane

He said: “We shall overcome. Imagine being in traffic while your house is on fire. I have seen hell. These past few days have been traumatic. I have always been a strong go-getter because I work hard for everything I have. But the hurt, devastation, and trauma I faced during this period almost drove me insane. Thank you to all who reached out.”

Fans of the reality star, stormed the comment section of the post to sympathized with him for the loss.

BBNaija’s star, Tochi’s house is not the only celebrity house to have gutted fire this year. AY Makun is another celebrity whose house also gutted by fire earlier in the year.

The home of popular Nigerian comedian, Ayodeji Makun, widely known as AY, was recently engulfed by fire on August 9.

The intervention of fire fighters helped put out the fire which had already wreaked havoc in the building, situated at the Lekki area of Lagos state.

Though the exotic building was extensively damaged, no lives were lost in the incident.

Reacting, many colleagues and fans including his younger brother and fashion designer, Yomi Casual sympathised with the comedian cum producer.

Expressing gratitude to God for the safety of his family, AY had appreciated everyone who reached out to him during this difficult time.

The comedian said that pain is temporary when one finds themselves with the right partner to journey life with.

He added that, he believes God will never take anything away from one’s life without finding something better to replace it with.

He wrote: “Pain can be temporary when you find yourself with the right partner to journey with. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place.

As we continue to walk through the journey of life together, we shall replace the lies of the enemies with the truth of God. One thing we know for sure is that God never takes away something from your life without replacing it with something better.
