Super Eagles Head Coach, Eric Chelle, has released a provisional squad of 55 players for the 35th Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Morocco.
Captain William Troost-Ekong, star striker Victor Osimhen, midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali are among the top names on the list.
Other familiar faces include goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, defenders Zaidu Sanusi, Calvin Bassey, Semi Ajayi, midfielders Frank Onyeka, Alex Iwobi, Raphael Onyedika, and forwards Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, and Chidera Ejuke.
The list also features players from the Nigeria Premier Football League such as Abdulrasheed Shehu, Ebenezer Harcourt, Ekeson Okorie, Chisom Orji, and Adekunle Adeleke.
A final squad of 28 players will be selected from the provisional list in the coming days.
The team will begin camping in Egypt on Wednesday, 10th December, where they are expected to play friendly matches before the tournament kicks off on Sunday, 21st December.
Nigeria is placed in Group C alongside Tanzania, Tunisia and Uganda.
