Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu has appealed to all registered voters in Surulere Federal Constituency 1 to come out in large number to vote the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Fuad Laguda for the by-election, that holds in the constituency on Saturday.
The by -election is to get a replacement for Gbajabiamila who was elected representative of the constituency in the last general elections, and the seat became vacant when he was appointed chief of staff to the president.
At the grand finale campaign for the by- election, which holds on Saturday, Gbajabiamila said, “it is my pleasure to present Fuad Kayode Laguda @FKLaguda to my good people of Surulere 1 federal constituency, Lagos as a worthy successor to step in as the federal lawmaker to represent our constituency in the House of Representatives.
“I implore every registered voter in Surulere to come out on Saturday, February 3, 2024, to vote for APC in the by-election to be conducted by INEC.
“I served and represented Surulere 1 Federal constituency for over 20 years rising through different ranks before I was elected Speaker of Nigeria’s parliament.
“I am proud to say that I defended the mandate given to me through the sponsorship of quality legislations, oversight functions and attraction of numerous projects within and outside Surulere 1 federal constituency.
“I strongly believe that Fuad Kayode Laguda possesses the rightful leadership credentials to continue in this direction of impactful legislative representation.”
Laguda was until he was elected the candidate for the House of Representative seat APC chairman for Surulere local government.
He is successful tax/finance administrator.
Gbajabiamila stressed “Vote APC’s Fuad Kayode Laguda on Saturday, Feb 3, 2024, for the continuity of all our good works in Surulere 1 federal constituency, Lagos.”
