President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of 20 Nigerians as Federal Commissioners in the National Population Commission (NPC) on Wednesday. The list includes nine returning Commissioners who have been re-appointed for a second term and 11 new appointees.
In a statement issued by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu urged the newly appointed and returning NPC Commissioners to ensure the successful implementation of all measures set by his administration. He emphasized the importance of producing accurate population data, which will aid in addressing Nigeria’s various socio-political and economic challenges.
The newly appointed Federal Commissioners are as follows:

2. Dr. Clifford Zirra — Adamawa (Reappointed)
3. Mr. Chidi Christopher Ezeoke — Anambra (Reappointed)
4. Barr. Isa Audu Buratai — Borno (Reappointed)
