In a twist to the ongoing investigation into the tragic death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, famously known as Mohbad, singer Owodunni Ibrahim, popularly known as Primeboy, has come forward to share his version of events in an exclusive interview with a Television Station, Television Continental (TVC).
In the candid interview, Primeboy opened up about the last encounter he had with the late Mohbad, shedding light on the circumstances leading up to the tragic incident. This revelation comes after Primeboy surrendered himself to the police on Thursday, following his declaration as a wanted individual the day before.

Primeboy recounted that on the fateful day, a heated argument had ensued between Mohbad and his spouse. During the altercation, things escalated to the point where he (Primeboy) reportedly intervened. According to Primeboy, in a fit of anger, Mohbad allegedly chased him out of his vehicle.
He said
“He (Mohbad) was trying to alight from the car when the issue between him and his wife heated up. But I stopped him, advising that it wasn’t safe for him to do so since Zlatan was still performing. He then told me to come down from the car. And I did.
“I could tell that he was badly hurt from the way he was reacting that day,” he added.

Primeboy also claimed that, contrary to the story making the rounds, he never received an invitation from the police.
He said,
“I have never received a message of invitation from the police; it is a big lie that I did. Before this issue of declaring me wanted sprang up, I had wanted to explain myself at the station after people started accusing me of killing Mohbad.”
