Nigerian Afrobeat Star, Davido has reacted after international music sensation Rihanna declared his hit track “Unavailable” as her song of the year.
According to the global Popstar in a recent interview, she has had ‘Unavailable’ on repeat all year, making it her favorite song for the year.
The musician turned Billionaire entrepreneur also named Tyler ICU’s hit single ‘Mnike’ as one of her favorite songs of 2023.

Reacting to the Rihanna’s preference for his music, Davido via the microblogging platform, X formerly Twitter reposted the video with the caption, ‘my RIRI.’
Meanwhile, a video recently surfaced featuring Rihanna enthusiastically participating in the ‘Unavailable’ dance challenge at an event for her fashion brand, Fenty, The Creeper.
Joined by her partner A$AP Rocky and Fenty team members, Rihanna showcased her dance moves, igniting excitement across social media.
Davido, thrilled by Rihanna’s endorsement, had expressed his enthusiasm, declaring, “I made a pandemic.”
Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ featuring Musa Keys which is one of the singles off his record-breaking fourth album ‘Timeless’ so far have reached number 1 on the UK Afrobeats Singles Chart and hitting number 3 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.
Following the impressive success of the single, multiple remixes including one with Jamaican Dancehall legend Sean Paul and American rapper Latto have been released.
The hit single will be vying for the Grammy award for Best African Music Performance in February 5, 2024, as Davido will be hoping to pick up his first Grammy award out of his 3 nominations.
