The candidate of the Democratic Party in the U.S. 2024 presidential election, VP Kamala Harris has announced Tim Walz as her running mate.
Top Society reports Harris picked Walz as her running mate for the U.S. 2024 presidential election on Tuesday.
Although Harris is yet to put an official through to Walz, the duo will appear together in their first joint rally in Philadelphia later today.
Walz, a former educator, is currently in his second term as the Governor of Minnesota. He chairs the Democratic Governors Association.
He served 24 years in the Army National Guard, rising to command sergeant major, one of the highest enlisted ranks in the military.
