Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Joanna has denied Jason Jae’s claim that they had a “one-night stand” while in the Big Brother house.
Fans may recall that Joanna and Jason shared a moment together on the night before Joanna was evicted. However, the cameras moved away, leaving viewers unsure of what actually happened.
After the show, Jason described the incident as a “one-night stand” during an interview.
Speaking during the second episode of the BBNaija reunion, Joanna rejected that claim. She insisted that nothing intimate happened between them.
According to Joanna, she was emotional that night because fellow housemate Thelma had just been evicted. She said she woke up to find Jason in her bed and noticed he was physically aroused. She said she tried to cover him up, but was surprised when he later suggested they had a one-night stand.
“The first interview Jason gave, he called it a one-night thing. I was shocked. I was sleeping when he came to my bed. I was emotional because it was the night Thelma got evicted. I woke up and saw him there. He was hard as a rock, and I tried to cover him up. Then he went out and said we had a one-night stand,” Joanna said.
Jason later apologized for creating that impression. However, he maintained that he was never romantically interested in Joanna.
He also disagreed with Joanna’s claim that he wanted to use her as a rebound after being rejected by fellow housemate Dede.
The exchange added more drama to the ongoing BBNaija Season 10 reunion show.
