Afenifere Youth Leader Pleads for Help as Kidnappers Demand N100 Million Ransom

Prince Eniola Ojajuni, the National President of the Afenifere National Youth Council, has made a desperate appeal to Nigerians to help raise the N100 million ransom demanded by his kidnappers.

In a disturbing video circulating online, Ojajuni is seen pleading for his life while a kidnapper points an AK-47 at his chest .

The kidnappers have threatened to kill Ojajuni by 3 pm on Monday if the ransom is not paid.

Ojajuni’s family has also been in contact with the kidnappers, who claim that someone paid them N50 million to abduct and kill the Afenifere youth leader.

The kidnappers have demanded a ransom of N100 million, which the family is struggling to raise.

His words in the viral video, “Nigerians, please help me! Your donation—N100,000, N50,000, or N1,000,000—can go a long way in saving my life,” he pleaded in the video. “My name is Prince Eniola Ojajuni. God bless you. Aderohunmu, please help me spread this video.”

However, the National Secretary of the council, Abiodun Aderohunmu, confirmed the abduction, revealing that the kidnappers have demanded a ransom of N100 million for his release.

The statement reads; “The Afenifere National Youths Council is deeply saddened to announce the kidnapping of its National President, Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, in Abuja. During the attack, he sustained a gunshot wound, and we are extremely concerned about his safety.”

The incident has sparked widespread concern and outrage, with many calling for the Nigerian government to take decisive action to address the growing insecurity in the country.
