The governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke whilst celebrating his friend, Dele Momodu’s 64th birthday, which recently held, displayed an attribute of himself that is not commonly seen.
Adeleke, who’s known for his dancing skills from his days as a senator, turned into a prayer warrior at Momodu’s Penthouse.
In videos posted on Instagram by the Ovation Magazine publisher on Monday, the governor is seen conducting worship songs, praying and making the sign of the cross on the celebrant and his wife Mobolaji.

Adeleke started with a speech, after which held Momodu’s hand and that of his wife, as he began to pray for him in English and Yoruba.
He also made the sign of the cross on their foreheads and blew a gentle breeze on them.
The governor also described the day as a joyful one.
Sharing the video to followers on Instagram, the celebrant captioned one of his Instagram posts, ”It is impossible not to love GOVERNOR ADEMOLA ADELEKE except you’re just a mean character…
“Our governor, Ademola Adeleke is such a prayer warrior.”
The Osun governor led Ovation Magazine editor Mike Effiong, publisher and author Azuh Arinze and others in singing to honour Momodu.
The gathering at the penthouse came after Momodu held his inaugural leadership lecture at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs as part of activities marking his birthday.
The lecture themed ‘The Politics of Energy and The Way Forward’ had in attendance the likes of former President of Ghana, John Mahama, Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Adeleke, former governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke; and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.’
