A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has responded to former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, over comments that the ruling party could lose power in 2027.
El-Rufai made the statement while speaking at the 23rd Daily Trust Dialogue, where he said the APC might not remain in power after the 2027 general election.
Reacting to the claim, Igbokwe shared a post on Facebook, listing ten reasons why President Bola Tinubu will be re-elected in 2027.
According to him, Tinubu is currently fixing Nigeria in ways never seen before. He said the president has deep knowledge and experience on how to solve the country’s problems.
Igbokwe also stated that Tinubu has impacted lives across Nigeria more than any other Nigerian, past or present.
He described the president as highly educated, intelligent, and very good with finances compared to leaders who have ruled in the last 30 years.
He added that Tinubu prepared for the presidency for over 20 years and has built major infrastructure projects across the country.
Igbokwe noted that many agencies and departments created in Lagos State during Tinubu’s time as governor are now being copied by other states.
He further described Tinubu as a long-time financial expert, a generous leader who shows mercy, and someone who has helped raise many leaders across Nigeria.
According to Igbokwe, these qualities are what set Tinubu apart from others and will ensure his victory in the 2027 election
