Senator Ned Nwoko has responded to ongoing reports about his marriage to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, following weeks of controversy surrounding alleged domestic violence.

In an exclusive interview with Channels TV, Nwoko said, “We are trying to manage the situation,” when asked about the tension at home. The lawmaker, who was also questioned about handling multiple roles as a politician, businessman, and family man, confidently added, “I am capable of it all.”

This comes days after Regina Daniels was alleged to have accused him of physical abuse — claims Nwoko previously denied, asserting that his wife was “under the influence of substances.”

Earlier this month, he made headlines when he declared, “I feel sorry for men with only one wife.” Read more in this earlier report and revisit the divorce rumours surrounding the couple.

The interview has reignited conversations about celebrity marriages and public accountability among Nigeria’s elite.
