Senator Ned Nwoko has said he feels pity for men who have only one wife, arguing that polygamy gives men more stability, peace, and balance in their homes.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Sunday, the lawmaker representing Delta North explained that he believes having more than one wife helps men to live happier and more fulfilled lives.
“I feel sorry for those who have one wife.

Just imagine standing on one leg — it’s difficult. But with two, three, or four, you’re more balanced. That’s the example I give,” Nwoko said with a smile.

When the interviewer pointed out that the Bible does not encourage polygamy, the senator disagreed, saying that the Old Testament supports it.

“The Old Testament does. I am a man of faith. But that’s not what we are here for,” he responded confidently.
Nwoko, who is married to four wives, said he has no regrets about his lifestyle and would make the same choices again if given the chance.

“No, I don’t have any regret. I would do the same thing again. You should marry who you want to marry,” he said firmly.

Addressing recent reports that he had been violent toward his actress wife, Regina Daniels, the senator dismissed the allegations as lies meant to tarnish his image.

“I am not a violent person. I respect my wives and love them and my kids,” he stated.

The senator’s remarks come amid public speculation about tension in his household after Regina Daniels recently unveiled a new mansion on social media.

The actress shared photos of the house with the caption:
“In my house, I am a queen. I needed a roof over my head, so I got this for me and my family.”

Nwoko and Regina, who got married in 2019, have two children together. Despite widespread media attention surrounding their marriage, both continue to maintain a united front publicly.

Ned Nwoko, a businessman, philanthropist, and senator, is known for his outspoken views on marriage and family life.
