EFCC: Court Reiterates Order for Unconditional Release of CBN Governor, Emefiele

The courtroom atmosphere was tense as Justice Olukayode Adeniyi, the presiding judge, upheld his earlier ruling demanding the unconditional release of the former CBN Governor or his appearance for the bail application hearing.

Amidst heightened anticipation, Emefiele made his entrance at approximately 12:30 pm. This follows Justice Adeniyi’s reiterated order from Monday, emphasizing the necessity of presenting the detained former CBN Governor in court today, November 8, for the purpose of considering his bail eligibility.
