Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju also known as Bobrisky is trending on social media after being arrested again by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on his way to London.
In the video making the rounds online, Bobrisky was disgracefully and forcefully dragged off the flight at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
The controversy surrounding Bobrisky began in April 2024, when he was sentenced to six months in prison by the Federal High Court in Lagos for naira abuse. Bobrisky had regained his freedom after spending days in Nigerian Immigration custody. Bobrisky was arrested by Nigerian Immigration on his way to escape to the Benin Republic.
While trying to flee again to London, the crossdresser was exposed by Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti Governor Ayo Fayose who took to his Instagram page and stressed that he met Bobrisky on his way to London.
In the Instagram post, Isaac Fayose wrote; “See who is on the same flight ✈️ with me to London @bobrisky222.”
After he was forcefully removed, Bobrisky posted on his Instagram page to alert followers about the development.
Bobrisky alleged that the EFCC was responsible for his detention. He wrote, “Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured.”
