President Bola Tinubu has replaced a ministerial nominee, Maryam Shetty, choosing two others, including Festus Keyamo and Dr Maigari Mahmud.
This was disclosed when Senate President Godswill Akpabio read out a letter by the President at Friday’s plenary session.
The ministerial nomination of Maryam Shetty from Kano State by President Bola Tinubu had generated mixed reactions from Nigerians.
It cannot be confirmed at the time of filing this report if this is the reason the nominee was dropped by the President.
