The Judiciary workers in Osun State have declared an industrial action following a series of confrontations.
On Wednesday, police stationed at the High Court entrance in Oke-Fia area of the state capital fired tear gas at protesting workers and journalists.

This comes in the wake of the Judiciary Staff Union in Osun State locking the court entrance on Monday, picketing the Chief Judge’s office to protest against alleged mismanagement and activities within the judiciary.
Tensions escalated on Wednesday when Chief Judge Justice Oyebola Ojo entered the court premises with security personnel, prompting a chaotic response from workers who sought access.
