Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci has visited the Guinness World Records global headquarters located at the South Quay Plaza, Canary Wharf in London.
This comes after the record agency nudged the chef to visit its headquarters after she posted her location as London in a video she shared on X on Thursday.
A few hours later, a photo of the Nigerian chef posing with the team at Guinness World Record emerged.
An excited Hilda also posted a video of herself via Instagram, having a good time at the office and interacting with the team.
“@guinnessworldrecords called and I pulled,” she captioned the video.

It would be recalled that Hilda removed the title of world record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual from her bio after the GWR announced an Irish chef Alan Fisher as the latest world record holder for the title.
Hilda wrote,
“Just as Chef Lata respectfully acknowledged the new record holder by updating her bio and later fine-tuning the wording, I’ve adjusted mine too
“Achieving such a record is no small feat, and I know this firsthand. I have only the greatest admiration for the hard work it took for Alan to reach such heights.
“Sportsmanship is about recognizing progress, whether the accolade is in my bio or not. I remain a record-holder in spirit and in history. Let’s celebrate achievement and the spirit of competition.
“I’m so happy to have held a record so prestigious and profound that I will forever be honored and grateful for all the love and support.”
Hilda’s social media bio now reads, “digital creator”.
The Guinness World Records disclosed that Fisher cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan, surpassing the previous record held by Hilda by over 24 hours.
