The Presidency has released a fresh list of individuals granted clemency by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as part of his administration’s efforts to promote justice reform and compassion within the Nigerian correctional system.

The move is said to align with the President’s commitment to uphold fairness, reduce prison congestion, and give deserving inmates a second chance at life.
According to the statement from the Presidency, the list includes a total of 34 individuals who benefited from different categories of mercy granted by the President.
Fifteen Nigerians were fully pardoned, four others had their death sentences changed to life imprisonment, while another fifteen received clemency for various offences.
