The national president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas has said that the Nollywood costumier named Prince Onyenwere who allegedly raped a 10-year-old girl on a movie set in Delta State is not a member of the guild.
It would be recalled that Top Society reported that the girl whose name was withheld was allegedly violated by Prince while changing her outfit in a hotel room in Asaba during a movie production.

Rollas, who had earlier asked for more information on the case, in an Instagram post on Monday night distanced the movie body from the costumier after some of his followers questioned why the AGN has not yet taken action against Prince for defiling a minor.
Weighing in on the matter, Emeka said the accused and the victim are not AGN members and the girl’s parents withdrew the case.
He wrote:
“They are not members of my Guild please. You guys should stop. We took the guy to police and the little girl’s parents withdrew the case themselves so what should AGN do?”
Recall that Prince was handed over to the police in January after he was beaten for allegedly abusing the girl on a movie set and was subsequently released by the police, sparking reactions on social media.
However, in a statement released on Saturday, police spokesperson Bright Edafe said the
“mother of the victim compounded the entire case stating that she and her family has forgiven the suspect”
and refused to show up with her daughter which led to the suspect’s release.
