American business magazine, Forbes has labeled one of Nigeria’s influential Afrobeat singer, Davido as one of the richest in Africa 2024.
The list also mentioned Wizkid, Burna Boy, Don Jazzy and Rema in the top five.
Davido led with $100 million, Don Jazzy followed with $50 million, Burna Boy raked up $30 million, Wizkid with $25 million, and Rema with $15 million.
This is according to a publication from the American Business magazine for 2024.
Just as Rema said, there is no longer a Big Three, as he has now been included in the list and comes as the Fourth. Forbes rating has put fans against each other, as many do not agree with the list.
Fans of Nigerian music super stars Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, and Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, were not pleased when Forbes named David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, as the richest artiste in Africa in 2024.
This comes midst the online feud between Davido and Wizkid, which is causing chaos on social media.The list came as a shock to many Nigerias as fans argued their favorites should take the lead spot.
