War Deepens: Iran Warns Civilians, US Signals Hope for Deal

Iran has warned civilians across the Middle East to stay away from areas near United States military bases, as tensions continue to rise in the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the US, and Israel.

The warning came shortly after former US President Donald Trump said that negotiations to end the war were “going well.” Despite this claim, fighting has continued across several regions, with no clear sign of a ceasefire.

The conflict, which began on February 28 following joint US and Israeli strikes on Iran, has now entered its fourth week.

Iranian authorities have urged people to avoid locations linked to American forces, warning that such places could become targets. The military also suggested that hotels housing US personnel could be attacked.

Airstrikes were reported overnight in major Iranian cities, including Tehran, Qom, and Urmia.

According to officials, more than 120 cultural and historical sites have been damaged in the fighting. Among them is the UNESCO-listed Golestan Palace, one of Iran’s most important landmarks.

Meanwhile, Iran has maintained a firm stance on the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil route. The country claims the passage is closed to vessels linked to its enemies and says it has already blocked several ships.

In response, Trump extended a deadline for Iran to reopen the strait until April 6, warning of serious consequences if it fails to comply.

The conflict is beginning to impact the global economy, with oil prices fluctuating and trade routes under threat.

World leaders have called for urgent diplomacy, with reports suggesting possible direct talks between the US and Iran soon.

Despite these efforts, Israel has vowed to intensify its military operations. Defence Minister Israel Katz warned that Iran would face increasing consequences for its actions, raising fears that the war could escalate further.
