The Tinubu–Ambode Support Group continued its statewide campaign on Thursday with a visit to the Shomolu-Bariga Federal Constituency in Lagos State.
The group is carrying out an intensive drive to encourage people to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and complete the All Progressives Congress (APC) e-registration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The campaign aims to mobilise Nigerians to take part in the democratic process by registering, updating their voter details, and obtaining their PVCs.
During the event, the National Director General of the group, Hon. Seyi Bamigbade, praised the efforts of former Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, saying he has been working hard to help secure millions of votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the coming election.
He added that Ambode’s renewed involvement in politics is focused on supporting democracy in Lagos State and across Nigeria. Bamigbade also noted that their ongoing activities align with the APC’s wider preparations for the election season.
Hon. Rotimi Olowo, who addressed residents during the outreach, stressed the importance of taking civic duties seriously.
He urged the public to use initiatives like the Tinubu-Ambo Street Captains to complete their APC e-registration so that they are properly captured in the party’s database.
He also reminded citizens that the PVC is an important tool for participating in elections, saying, “The PVC is our right as citizens, and every vote must count.”
The sensitisation exercise in Shomolu-Bariga is another step in the group’s larger mobilisation effort as political activities increase across the country.
