The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) has responded to former U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent threat to launch military action in Nigeria.
Trump had earlier declared Nigeria a

“Country of Particular Concern” and reportedly directed the U.S. Department of Defense to prepare for possible intervention over alleged attacks on Christians.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama shared on his official X (Twitter) account that ISWAP reacted through a propaganda message circulated on its usual online platforms.

In the message, the group called Trump a “reckless American tyrant,” claiming he was influenced by “evangelical Christian and Jewish advisers” during his time in office. The terrorists accused the U.S. of trying to present itself as a

“global defender of Christians.”
ISWAP also warned its members to stop using smartphones, avoid public gatherings, and reduce movement for safety reasons.

The group further urged Muslims across West Africa to unite and take Trump’s warning seriously, accusing Western nations of committing “crimes against African Muslims.”
