Comic Nollywood actor, John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu on Thursday night sang in appreciation to his wife, Stella Maris for her support and care during his battle with ‘strange and dangerous’ illness.

Recall, the comic actor had celebrated his 63rd birthday in an undisclosed hospital in Lagos where he revealed in a video posted on Instagram that he needed financial support so his leg would not be amputated.

According to the actor, the illness he was battling with, was strange and dangerous, which could lead to the loss of his legs.

Following his public plea, the Bukola Saraki Foundation stepped in and paid the medical bills of ailing actor.

On October 31, the family of the comic actor in a statement released expressed gratitude to God and the general public for their support and encouragement, while disclosing that he underwent five successful surgeries and currently recovering in an intensive care unit (ICU).

In a new video shared on Instagram on Thursday night, the 63-year-old is seen eulogizing his wife with praises in Igbo languages.

Mr Ibu who spoke in Igbo, prayed for God’s blessings upon his wife while the latter echoed “Amen.”
