Nigerian Senator who represents Anambra South on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ifeanyi Ubah has died in London, United Kingdom.
Top Society reports that Ubah defected to the APC a few months ago and was tipped to clinch the governorship ticket ahead of the next election in less than 20 months.
The lawmaker died on Saturday morning, multiple reports say.
His death was confirmed on an online group chat of senators, reports SaharaReporters.
Ubah reportedly took ill a few weeks ago.
The cause of his death was not immediately clear.
