“Legendary Ring Return.” The fight is scheduled for November 22, 2025, at Shalom Park & Events Centre, located opposite the General Hospital in Igando, Lagos. The event is organized by New Era Promotions.

Several well-known Nigerian boxers will also feature on the fight card, including Idris Hamza, Segun “War” Adeyemi, Williams “Kaki Fire” Amosu, Sodiq “Golden Boy” Oyakojo, Kaniru Ashiru, Ekenne Richard Usoni, Ibrahim Olajibu, and Don King Essien.

Ali, who last fought professionally in 2004, said his upcoming bout will prove he still has what it takes to dominate the ring.

“He believes he can defeat me because we sparred years ago and I allowed him to win. But this time, he’s going to see the real Bash Ali.

With confidence, Ali vowed to end the fight in just one round.

“The match won’t last more than three minutes. If it does, I will retire from boxing permanently,” he declared.
His return comes shortly after another Nigerian boxing great, Ike

‘The President’ Ibeabuchi, made a successful comeback at age 52, winning by knockout earlier this year.
