Who says fairy tales don’t exist? For Nollywood actor Shawn Faqua and luxury event planner Dr Sharon Ifunanya, love took a first-class ride through history. The couple tied the knot traditionally and in a white wedding that turned heads nationwide, because it happened inside a moving train.

In a dazzling display of love and elegance, the duo exchanged vows aboard a beautifully decorated coach, marking what many now call Nigeria’s first-ever train wedding. According to BellaNaija, Sharon’s casual wish for a train ride inspired Shawn to create a wedding dream like no other. Their love story has since become the talk of social media.

Before the train ride, the pair had already broken the internet with their traditional wedding, where Sharon looked breathtaking in rich Igbo regalia, her trailing attire glittering with intricate beads and coral accents — and guests couldn’t stop chanting, “Umuna, clock it!”
