The bustling community of Ifako-Agege will this weekend host what promises to be one of the most spiritually uplifting gatherings in the region as the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), The Royal Tribe, brings the Ifako Image Mega Crusade to life at Coker Memorial Field, College Road, Ifako.
Tagged “ Ebenezer My Help Has Come,” the week-long programme is scheduled to commence at 5:30 p.m. daily, drawing worshippers, gospel ministers, and choirs from within and beyond Lagos. Organisers say the crusade is designed to rekindle faith, unite the community, and create an atmosphere for spiritual transformation.
Free CSR Packages for Attendees
In addition to preaching, prayers, and music ministration, the crusade comes with a strong community support initiative.
The first 1,000 attendees each day will receive free Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) packages, an effort aimed at easing economic pressure on families in Ifako and surrounding areas.
According to RCCG The Royal Tribe, the gesture reflects the church’s commitment to not only meeting spiritual needs but also addressing practical challenges faced by many residents.
“We believe that true ministry goes beyond the pulpit. By providing CSR packages, we are reaching out with love and compassion to our community,” one of the organisers explained.
A Star-Studded Lineup of Ministers
The crusade has lined up some of Nigeria’s most respected gospel ministers and preachers, ensuring a dynamic mix of worship, teaching, and revival. Popular gospel singer Adeyinka Alaseyori, widely celebrated for her spirit-lifting worship songs, will lead attendees in sessions of praise. Also billed to minister are Tosin Bee, known for his energetic gospel performances, and Awesome Melody, who has built a reputation for soul-enriching songs.
Other notable ministers include Daniel Olawande, a fiery preacher among the new generation of revivalists, Dapo Aremu, and JT Kalejaye, a senior pastor in RCCG recognised for his inspiring messages and prophetic insights.
The programme will also feature ministrations from Anthony Ibe, Busayo Omoniyi, Aunday Odunuga, Motunde Fash L, and Elijah Daniels.
“This is not just another programme,” said one of the planning committee members.
“It is an encounter that will change lives, restore hope, and reaffirm God’s covenant with His people.
With such anointed ministers on ground, worshippers can expect healing, deliverance, and testimonies.”
Choirs in Harmony
Adding to the spiritual atmosphere will be performances from four mass choirs representing different RCCG provinces. The LP 105 Choir, LP 87 Choir, LP 85 Choir, and LP 18 Choir will lead the crowd in joint worship sessions. Organisers say the choirs have been rehearsing intensively for weeks to ensure a seamless blend of music, worship, and inspiration.
“Music is a powerful vehicle for revival,” said a member of the LP 105 Choir. “We are prepared to usher in the presence of God in a way that will touch every heart at the crusade.”
The Theme: “ Ebenezer My Help Has Come”
The chosen theme reflects a message of hope and divine intervention. In Christian teaching, “Ebenezer” signifies “stone of help” a reminder of God’s faithfulness in providing assistance during times of challenge.
Explaining the significance, one of the ministers noted: “In these times of uncertainty, people are searching for assurance.
This crusade comes as a prophetic declaration that God has not abandoned His people.
Attendees should expect God to raise their own Ebenezer their point of help, healing, and breakthrough.”
Security and Logistics
Organisers have assured residents of adequate security and logistics. Collaborations are in place with local authorities and security agencies to ensure a safe and orderly environment. Volunteers will also be on hand to direct traffic, manage crowds, and assist attendees.
“We are expecting large numbers daily, but everything has been structured to avoid congestion. Security arrangements are solid, and there will be ushers to guide participants,” a member of the organising committee stated.
Testimonies Expected
The RCCG Royal Tribe believes the crusade will mark a turning point for many individuals and families. Past editions of similar programmes have reportedly yielded testimonies of healing, deliverance, and restored relationships.
“This is an appointment with destiny,” declared one of the guest preachers. “When God visits a community, He leaves behind blessings that cannot be denied. Ifako will remember this week for years to come.”
A Broader Impact
Beyond spiritual revival, the Ifako Image Mega Crusade is expected to have broader socio-economic impact. The influx of participants, including visitors from neighbouring communities, is likely to boost local businesses, from transportation to food vendors and small-scale traders.
“Whenever there is a big crusade like this, sales improve,” said a food vendor near College Road. “We prepare more because people come from far places. It’s good for business, and it also brings joy because we are part of something special.”
Powered by RCCG The Royal Tribe
The initiative is spearheaded by RCCG The Royal Tribe, a fast-growing parish within the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Known for youth-oriented evangelism and innovative outreach, the Royal Tribe has consistently blended worship with social impact.
“This is our way of giving back,” explained one of the leaders. “We want to win souls, but we also want to show that the church cares about the welfare of people. That is why we added the CSR packages — because love must be practical.”
With a powerful lineup of ministers, choirs, and a theme centered on divine help, the Ifako Image Mega Crusade is poised to be more than an event — it is set to be an encounter with destiny.
For the thousands expected to gather at Coker Memorial Field daily, the words
“Ebenezer My Help Has Come” will not just be a theme, but a declaration of faith, a source of comfort, and a reminder that in times of need, divine help is never far away
